In the heart of the Athenian spring, the Great Greek Wines 2025 event took place at the Great Britain Hotel, marking for yet another year the dynamism and extroversion of Greek wine. Among the brilliant presentations and special distinctions, Ktima Zafeirakis was present with its stamp of quality and consistency.

Great Greek Wines has become one of the most important platforms for the promotion of Greek wine, connecting winemakers with professionals and consumers from all over the world. In 2025, the competition brought together over 660 wines from nearly 200 wineries in Greece and Cyprus.
The evaluation process was conducted using rigorous blind tasting standards by an international panel of seven leading industry experts, highlighting wines that stand out for their quality, uniqueness and authenticity.

Ktima Zafeirakis was once again distinguished for its work and its contribution to the rebirth and promotion of the Limniona variety, a rare red indigenous variety that has found its voice again through the care and philosophy of Christos Zafeirakis. The 65 award-winning wines included the Ktima Zafeirakis Limniona Young Vineyards wine , for which Konstantina Zafeirakis received the award with great pleasure.
Ktima Zafeirakis Limniona , from both old and young vines, impressed with its finely crafted character, the elegance of its aromas, the balance and the authentic expression of the Tyrnavos terroir.
