The Map of Flavours 2023 will take place at the Ioannis Vellidis Conference Centre at Hellexpo on Saturday and Sunday 2 & 3 December and will celebrate its 20th anniversary.
Christos Zafeirakis will participate in this festive event for wine and the exhibition with his own wines representing Ktima Zafeirakis and biodynamic/organic viticulture.
The wine event was organized for the first time in 2003 at the Mill, grew and became a wine institution in Warehouse C at the Port of Thessaloniki and now it has been 'launched' at the highly aesthetic and functional Helexpo conference centre.
In these 20 years, the exhibition has grown and evolved, has been improved and upgraded alongside Greek wine, aiming at the best possible communication of Greek wine. It has accompanied and highlighted the impressive increase in the number of the country's wineries and the soaring quality of Greek wines.
In December 2023, the Map of Flavours will bring together the entire world of Greek wine. More than 160 winemakers and distillers, from Greece, Cyprus and abroad, as well as importers/distributors of wines, winemaking materials, packaging, asseccoirs, etc. will showcase their products and activity, ready to answer questions, share their growing choices, production techniques and other interesting facts to thousands of visitors who will attend this great celebration.
Every year, this year too, there will be a rich programme of parallel events, presentations & lectures, tastings & masterclasses, mini seminars & cooking demonstrations, structured on the impressive stage of the Conference Centre, where it is expected to attract the interest of the visitors.
Wine Plus, as the organizer of the Map of Flavours, contributes substantially to the qualitative and targeted communication and promotion of Greek wine and, by extension, Greek gastronomy, to the creation of wine education among the general public and to the enrichment of the cultural-tourist "spirit" of Thessaloniki.
